I didn’t want to continue playing that save file that I’ve been playing for the last year.
Feel free to corrupt it.
Bought some amazing new yarn today, and I’m now going to go and teach myself how to (finally!) use DPNs. I will make my mother some gloves if it kills me.
I'm now officially on holidays for the next week
Celebrated by going out tonight and spending some money that I’d saved up.
Tomorrow and Sunday there are craft markets on in my neighbourhood, I predict lots of yarn buying. :)

Today has been a great day
I got a hair cut, went food shopping and bought all of Star Wars on Bluray! Public holiday Monday plans = sorted.
Plus this evening I’m going to go have a drink with friends. Everything is looking pretty rosy. :)

Went and saw Lion King 3D tonight. Freaking loved it. Would’ve loved it just as much if it was in 2D to be fair (plus, I’m sure the picture would’ve been waaaaaaaaay brighter) but my partner and I had a great time.
Bonus snaps to the guy who made a lewd noise when Nala and Simba were frolicking in the forest. Perfect timing, and the whole cinema laughed.

I’m watching ‘That’s Entertainment III’ a documentary on MGM musicals hosted by some of the great stars from the musicals. It even has performance that weren’t used in the original movies or that were re-shot. I’m in musical nerd heaven right now.

Knitting something for a swap. I’m stressing out trying to make this block exactly 8”. I’m not the most…precise of knitters so this is making me anxious. I’ve frogged three times trying to get this right.

Finally!
Internet at home is back up and running. Only took a few weeks.
Moved in, and most boxes are unpacked.
There are about a billion stray cats in the new neighbourhood, hopefully my cats will be able to deal.
*snuggles the internet* Oh its good to be back.

Oh internet, I miss you. Back to the new house, with no Internet until the 10th for me.
Moving house:
Had ice cream for breakfast (had to empty the freezer >.> )
Done two car trips with a third packed and ready to go.
2 hours until the guys with trucks get here.
Hopefully my new bed will be delivery some time in the next couple of hours as well.
Moving house today!
So far I’ve slept in two hours longer than I meant to & had a shower with REALLY loud music playing to wake me up.
Time to start loading the car up with the furniture that can be moved in it (and the cats) and start running loads to the new house. At least we’re only moving about 5 minutes away.
Removal truck comes at 1, so we’re going to see how much we can move ourselves...

Its a medley of songs performed at Jim Henson's memorial service. When they started bringing out the Muppets, I was a goner.
Its amazing how I well I was able to pick out which character they were portraying, even when they switched voices on some songs. I'm normally rubbish at that sort of thing.

Its amazing how much better I feel about my job when I take a few minutes and clear my desk of clutter and turn the stacks of paperwork pending into neat stacks of paperwork pending. I can find stuff! And I’m not in danger of being crushed by mounds of paperwork.
