Oh internet, I miss you. Back to the new house, with no Internet until the 10th for me.
Moving house:
Had ice cream for breakfast (had to empty the freezer >.> )
Done two car trips with a third packed and ready to go.
2 hours until the guys with trucks get here.
Hopefully my new bed will be delivery some time in the next couple of hours as well.
Moving house today!
So far I’ve slept in two hours longer than I meant to & had a shower with REALLY loud music playing to wake me up.
Time to start loading the car up with the furniture that can be moved in it (and the cats) and start running loads to the new house. At least we’re only moving about 5 minutes away.
Removal truck comes at 1, so we’re going to see how much we can move ourselves...

Its a medley of songs performed at Jim Henson's memorial service. When they started bringing out the Muppets, I was a goner.
Its amazing how I well I was able to pick out which character they were portraying, even when they switched voices on some songs. I'm normally rubbish at that sort of thing.

Its amazing how much better I feel about my job when I take a few minutes and clear my desk of clutter and turn the stacks of paperwork pending into neat stacks of paperwork pending. I can find stuff! And I’m not in danger of being crushed by mounds of paperwork.

Finished!
I finished the Zero Punctuation scarf last night! Well, the knitted portion anyway. I need to block it and add tassels. I didn’t get any photos, because the recipient is currently out of the house somewhere, wearing it. At least he likes it. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some photos this weekend. Looks great if I do say so myself.
Oh of course, me being me, I’m already 1/3 of...

Had a great dinner of roast pork, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potato and onion + sweet corn if I do say so myself.
Also very impressed I was able to pick up a 2.7 kg pork leg for just over $10. Fantastic.
